AIA is seeking a limited number of quality members in the State of Alabama. We have no specific agency profile because our membership consists of a wide range of agency “types.” The common thread? Our member agencies want to grow and remain independent.

If that sounds like you, then AIA will help you meet your objectives. Many of our members are smaller sized independent agencies that were in need of markets. Our contract with Alabama Insurance Alliance, Inc. and SIAA has provided us with access to insurance carriers at preferred commission rates and profit sharing opportunities.  I don’t think it would have been possible for a small agency like ours to have these opportunities had it not been for this relationship.  As we grow into a mid-size to large agency, I anticipate the relationship will continue to provide us with measurable benefits.  Any agency principal interested in profitable growth should consider the possibilities membership offers.
